The difference between plastering and re-skimming is...

• Plastering is applying a 2 to 3mm  layer of plaster over a new surface for example a brand new plaster-boarded wall or ceiling.

• Re-skimming is applying a 2 to 3mm layer of plaster over an old existing surface for example a artexed ceiling or walls.
